One year ago, I woke up to the news of Moon Bin's passing. I am not a fan of Astro but he was a familiar face that has been on my news feed for quite some time because of the dance with San Ha. I am starting to like them then and I always watched this clip of them dancing the Ting Tang Dance.
I was surprised and sad, how could someone with that smile be gone unexpectedly? Curiosity led me to various news sites and I read comments from fans about how it was unexpected. Most of the comments said he looked happy performing and some even asked why he would do that when they were in the middle of their world tour.
As a Hallyu Enthusiast, I was so affected by his passing that he prompted me to "accept" my mission of sharing my healing stories with others.
I also started to be more curious about how this can be prevented. As I was exploring astrology during that time, I learned through some of the birth charts I saw at that time that there are indicators if a person tends to be depressed or to resort to escapism (any form of addiction, loss in touch with reality, or worse to decide to take own life). That is why I have wanted to do more extensive research about the accuracy of natal charts or how they can complement the use of psychological and personality tests to prevent situations like this.
Moonbin was a singer, dancer, and actor under the label Fantagio and was a member of the group Astro and its sub-unit, Moonbin and Sanha. He was born on January 26, 1998, and was found dead in his apartment in Gangnam, on this date last year. Gangnam police believed that he died by suicide since there were no signs of foul play at the scene.
Here are excerpts from Moonbin's Natal Chart (please note that since I do not know the exact time of Moonbin's birthdate there are fewer insights because the houses the signs and planets are in are unidentified.)
Moon Square Saturn
This aspect is about people who are unable to express their feelings and prefer to hide behind a mask they create. They need a stable home where they can feel safe. In their family life they tend to artificially create too many duties. They are inclined to depression.
Venus Square Saturn
People with this aspect are responsible, reserved and hesitant. They also have restraints that are often the result of poor parenting or fear of other authorities. This also causes fear of loss - they are afraid to lose both their property and their loved ones. These people often submit their feelings to practicality (typical manifestation of this is getting married for security). They subconsciously fear unemployment and poverty.
In one of the readings I saw about his aspects, I saw familiar "scenarios" that can be found in my natal chart... and seeing those made me more "convinced" that he might have been like me, someone who has experienced lots of ups and downs but have a facade of a strong, resilient, person.
Even his Matrix of Destiny has indicators:
A person subconsciously inhibits themselves in self-development and self-expression due to increased anxiety and fear.
Indicators
Fear of responsibility and decision-making
Fear of moving forward, making mistakes and failing
Fear of harm
Fears of health problems, psychosomatic
Fear of poverty, lack of money

Experiencing panic attacks, anxiety, and depression
Living in illusions and avoiding reality
Reluctance to start a relationship or family
Frustration in relationships
Displaying demanding or critical behaviour
Being bothered by others and irritated by perceived stupidity
Fear of magic
Rejection of the supernatural and esoteric
Rejection of God and scepticism

Encountering metabolic issues
Experiencing kidney and joint problems
Reliance on tactile sensations and living through touch
His natal chart (a general one) already shows many fears from within that can probably inhibit Moonbin from expressing himself authentically.
And I know what it feels like because I have been there too. So in remembering Moonbin, he has paved the way again to remind me of my purpose... to share healing so that people like me, will see hope even in the darkness.
Moonbin, in your death, there's something I want to give birth to... something that maybe, just maybe in its way can help people like us who try to smile despite the pain, who have to wear different masks because of our fear of showing our authentic self, and have to go through many egos (emotional, psychological, and even spiritual deaths) deaths.
You do not know me, but I pray that your life can illuminate others and I hope that I can be instrumental in helping people to be more like a Phoenix who can rise again amid life's adversities.
